Lexi was such fun to photograph - this little girl is a natural! She has such a beautiful smile and sweet personality! Even on a cold Grand Rapids fall day, she was so happy to show off her pretty new dress and enjoy being outside. She will be turning 4 soon - happy almost birthday Lexi!
It's hard to believe my little guy is almost 9 months old already! He has added so much joy to our family! I snapped a few photos of him yesterday at a beautiful lakeside park in Caledonia where we met up with the cousins. He loved playing in the leaves (and tasting them too of course:) and taking a ride in the swing! Thanks to Joan (one of my husband's co-workers) for making his handsome red sweater that is keeping him toasty warm this fall!
Michelle was my student in high school youth group, and it was such an honor to .photograph her wedding at Princeton Church in Kentwood, Michigan! It turned out to be a beautiful fall day with plenty of rich color in the sky and in the landscape. There were so many friends in attendance at this wedding, it made my job all the more fun! A special thanks to Michael and Yvonne Elliott, master and mistress of ceremonies (and excellent photography assistants), what a great wedding this was! But most of the thanks go to Michelle and Andrew, it was so wonderful to be part of your special day, and I hope you enjoy the photos...Best wishes!
Joanna is a good friend of my sister, April, and I was so thrilled when she contacted me to photograph her wedding next July! She and Doug make a wonderful couple. We were blessed with a wonderful Michigan autumn sunset for their engagement session this week. Can't wait for the wedding, and best wishes until then!
Andrew and Chelsea were married in a beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony at the Lake Shore Chapel in Sautatuck 2 weeks ago in the presence of their families and close friends. What a pleasure it was to photograph their wedding and reception at The Porches of Saugatuck ! All the details of the day were so lovely, from the flowers, dress, and the locally made wine and food. God bless you both as you start your married life together!
The cake on the right is Kransekake - a wedding cake celebrating Andrew's Norwegian heritage.
I have known Jenny and Drew for several years, but hadn't seen them in a long time so it was wonderful meeting their two beautiful little girls for the first time! They were a blast to photograph out in a gorgeous field not too far from my house!
