I'm so thrilled to be photographing Liz and Mike's wedding next summer! After meeting with them both a couple of months ago, then spending some time with them last weekend for their engagement session, I could see how they truly understand what it means to love each other for life! They are clearly so happy together, but on a deeper level they know that love means putting the other person first and demonstrating commitment. Blessings to you both as you continue planning your wedding and preparing for your marriage together!
I love photographing families with young kids! These two kids were so sweet playing games with each other and giving lots of hugs and kisses - they are off to a great start on a friendship (although I'm sure mom and dad would attest to some good sibling rivalry from time to time:)! It makes me remember some great times with my own brothers and sister growing up! I actually graduated high school with Michelle (go Hudsonville Eagles!) and it was great to reconnect with her and meet her beautiful family! We had a wonderful sunshine filled evening for their family session - here are some favorites.
Julie and Michael were married on a gorgeous September day! They are truly a wonderful couple and were so excited that their wedding day had finally arrived. It was truly a pleasure to spend the day with Michael, Julie, and their friends and family! After the ceremony we headed down to the Grand Haven beach for some photos and the fog created such a beautiful, dreamy, and unique look to their wedding photography. We had a great time, even met a friendly little goat, Millie:) Every detail of their wedding and reception was so beautiful! Congratulations Michael and Julie as you enjoy this first year of marriage!
Curt and Emily's wedding day was fantastic from start to finish! They are a wonderful couple who are very much in love and it shows! Blanford Nature Center was host to us as we did most of the photography on their beautiful grounds - a sunny and warm day made it even better! We also took some time to play around a little with some of the cars that featured at their wedding as well:) Their family and friends who celebrated with them clearly support both Emily and Curt as they begin their marriage together. Congratulations to you both!
Their smokin' (literally:) hot getaway car! Emily was a stunning bride - her dress was perfect for her! A 2010 ArtPrize exhibit made a wonderful "frame" for some photographs - "Drawing of the Sun" by Vermont artist Brian Goblik. Beautiful Sculpture!
