Happy (almost:) Birthday Gisela! It was so much fun seeing her get her first taste of chocolate cake! I think saying "mmmmm mmmmm" while eating delicious food must be instinctual:) She wasn't so sure about getting her photos taken at first, but with mom and dad keeping her entertained, it wasn't long before smiles and giggles came out. Once she got going, she talked up a storm! It's hard to believe the last year has gone by so fast - here is a link to her newborn session last winter.

Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer - Santiago y Emily

Emily and Santiago's December wedding was a blast! Surrounded by friends and family from near and far, they enjoyed a wedding celebration that was truly memorable. Emily is a long time friend and seeing her marry her best friend, Santi, was a joy! Their wedding was a great mix of American and Ecuadorian cultures - from the bilingual ceremony to all the delicious food and desserts of Ecuador. Their reception at the Goei Center closed out with something called the hora loca (crazy hour) and as you can see, people had a great time!
