My first wedding of the 2012 season was a wonderful one! Both Laura and Erik are relaxed and easy going people who are very much in love:) All of the details of the day were incredible from her gown, flowers, jewelry, and beyond. Despite some rain here and there we managed to find a small window of time between the wedding and reception to head into downtown Grand Rapids for some photos with the wedding party. Our first stop was at the Grand Rapids Art Museum (which also included a chili dog stop for the guys:) followed by the Gerald Ford Museum, both of which make great settings! The reception was lively not only because the people were fun, but also due to the fantastic band, The Groove Party Band (located out of Fenton, MI). Congratulations to you, Laura and Erik, as you begin your journey together and thank you so much for allowing me the privilege of photographing your wonderful start to marriage!

Laura made an absolutely stunning bride and her Lazaro gown was gorgeous!

I love their reaction at seeing Laura in her gown for the first time:)

Gorgeous photo by Mandy Bowerman at AmandaMaeDesign - thank you!

Aren't these hats fantastic! Jane, Laura's mom, found them and had to pick them up!

The beautiful Pantlind Ballroom was the setting for their reception!

Their first dance as a married couple - one of my favorite wedding moments!
