This year I have been beyond blessed to photography many beautiful weddings in some gorgeous settings, but this was one of my favorite places:) A year before the wedding Chelsey and Austin started making plans and preparations to have their ceremony at a special place for them – Austin’s family’s home in Dryden, MI. From clearing land to planting grass to building an amazing altar for the ceremony to take place on, they, along with their families, put in countless hours preparing for the day they would commit their lives to each other. Several times during the day Chelsey said “God is smiling on us today!” and He surely was, blessing them with sunshine, but especially with the care and support of their family and friends and the love He gave them for each other. Their creativity in all the wedding details was truly a sight to behold and these photos capture pieces of the day. Congratulations to you both and God bless as you grow in love for each other over the years! Chelsey’s lacy gown was gorgeous and so perfect for her! Austin built this stone fireplace as an altar for their wedding vows – gorgeous setting!
