2014 wedding season begins! Kristin and Travis were married on a gorgeous, snowy day a couple weeks ago at the Bissell Tree House surrounded by their families and close friends who traveled from near and far to be there for them. What stood out to me most about their wedding day was the focus on prayer – Kristin’s mom and friends started out by praying a blessing on them first thing in the morning, Travis and Kristin took time to pray at their first look, and they also looked to God for guidance and support in the ceremony. Without a doubt they have a strong foundation of faith and unconditional love. They have been waiting for each other for a long time and their excitement to be bringing their lives together was wonderful to witness – reminded me of the joy my own husband continually brings into my family as well. Kristin and Travis were willing to brave the elements for some photos in the great outdoors – thankfully we were at a balmy 20 degrees that day:) The location they chose – the Bissell Tree House – was perfect for a winter wonderland day giving everyone a view to the whole city yet being in the woods at the same time. From start to finish the day was joy-filled for everyone there and an amazing way to kick off a life-long marriage! Congratulations to you both and thank you for inviting me in to witness the day!
